Event Pokemon League Cup Q4 2024 [SunPLCQ4]
Pokémon TCG League Cup tournaments are back in the 2024 Championship Series season! These events are a step up from League Challenge competitions, featuring an increased Championship Point payout and giving players more opportunities to test their skills in preparation for larger events.
In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program. Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached, and must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn points and prizes.
Players need to bring their own Standard-Format legal 60-card deck, as well as damage counters & a rondomizer (translucent die, official Pokemon coin, etc.). Click here for information about what is considered standard.
Registration / Check-In begins at noon, with round 1 beginning at 1:00pm.
Format:
Standard Format Decks
Swiss rounds, 30 minutes + 3 turns, best of one matches until the Top Cut
Top Cut will be Single Elimination Rounds, best of three games, 50 minutes + 3 turns
Number of rounds will be determined by the number of players in the event.
Decklists will be required to participate and must be turned in prior to the start of round 1. If you do not have your decklist turned in by the beginning of round 1, you will receive a Round 1 loss, same as arrive late will also be a round 1 loss. All participants will receive 1 Play! Point just for playing. The Championship Point payout for the Pokémon TCG League Cup is as follows:
