Mothership is a lethal, horror-driven sci-fi RPG built on a gritty percentile system where players take on the role of disposable "vacuum-sealed chumps" solving problems with whatever buzzsaw, harpoon, or ship's railgun they can jury-rig. The game thrives on smart, player-driven problem-solving rather than abstract mechanics—characters may know xenobiology, but players have to figure out how to apply it before a xenomorph eats their face. With death lurking around every corner and survival treated as a near-miracle, Mothership creates genuine stakes where each victory makes you love your character more... which makes losing them hurt so much better.
