Hot girl summer is over, and we're not welcoming in fat guy fall! And with the fall comes a lot of spooky stuff!

Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale
Ok, so I got this newsletter out really late, so by the time you are reading this, our September Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale has probably already started! Saturday Sept 14th from 10am - Midnight the sale will be rolling. We will have stuff outside on the sidewalk until 3pm. This month we are focusing on board games! You will find a whole lot of games on sale at 25% off. Same as always - we need to make space in the store, and these games are the last 1 or 2 we have in stock. If we can sell the games, we can use the space of all the new games that are hitting just in time for Xmas. (holy crud, Xmas is only 13 weeks away!)
If you miss all the sales outside, that is ok, because everything will stay on sale all day. If you want, you can shop online for in-store pickup or to have things shipped. You will find them online in the Get This Thing Outta My Store Sale!
FlatCon
FlatCon is Bloomington-Normal's only tabletop gaming convention, and it is coming up fast. I think a lot of folks don't really know what exactly a tabletop gaming convention is, so I created a web page just to help you figure it out. On the page you will find info on the various games we play at Flatcon, and a small FAQ. If there are any questions you have I didn't answer on the webpage, please email me at info@redraccoongames.com. I'll email you back plus add your question to the FAQ!
Movies at the Mural: Hocus Pocus
Movies at the Mural is exactly what it sounds like - we hang a screen over the center of the mural and show a free movie on it! For October we are showing the original Hocus Pocus. Hocus Pocus is almost 20 years old now! The program is a partnership with the Bloomington-Normal Rotary Clubs - I have been a member of Sunrise Rotary for almost 20 years.
If you want to come, bring your lawn chairs and (weather depending) blankets with you. Sunset is about 6:30pm, and we'll start the show shortly after that. We hope you come out to have fun with us!
Tomes of Terror with Bobzbay
Calling all horror enthusiasts and fans of the scary, sinister, and suspenseful! Join Bobzbay Books for a spine-tingling day of thrills and chills at the second annual Tomes of Terror Horror Convention. This annual FREE event offers authors, readers, local businesses, and horror fans from across the Midwest an opportunity to celebrate the darker side of literature together. Attendees can expect author meet and greets, book signings, horror themed giveaways, and more!
