We’ve got a lot happening this week, so here’s a quick update to keep you in the loop:
Store Closure – Thursday, April 30
We will be closed all day Thursday for staff training on our new point-of-sale system, Grindless. All events scheduled for Thursday are canceled.
We’ll reopen at our normal time on Friday, May 1. During this transition, our website may not function perfectly—especially for event registrations. If you run into issues, please stop by the store and we’ll be happy to help you get signed up in person.
To kick off May, join us for a brand new First Friday's event in Downtown - Salsa de Mayo! Come downtown between 5pm - 8pm & explore the shops while enjoying chips and salsa all throughout the downtown!
Downtown Bloomington Farmers’ Market – May 2
The first Downtown Bloomington Farmers’ Market of the season kicks off Saturday, May 2 from 7:30am–noon on the museum square, right in front of Red Raccoon Games!
Come enjoy fresh produce, local art, and a great morning downtown. If you’re driving in, we recommend parking at:
- Lincoln Parking Deck (Front St)
- Second Presbyterian lot (Jefferson St)
- PNC lot (between Jefferson & Washington)
After the market wraps up, street parking opens up again around 1pm.

Star Wars Unlimited – Win-A-Box Tournament
Join us for a competitive Star Wars Unlimited Premier event where players will battle it out for a full booster box prize! This is a great chance to test your deck against top local players in a structured, high-stakes environment. Whether you’re sharpening your competitive edge or just love the thrill of tournament play, this event delivers exciting matches and great rewards.
Riftbound - Unleashed Pre-Rift Event (Set 3 Launch!)
The third set of Riftbound is here, and excitement is building fast! This pre-release-style event gives players an early chance to explore new cards, strategies, and mechanics before the wider release. If you’ve been following Riftbound, this is one of the most anticipated drops yet—expect a strong turnout and plenty of buzz.
Dungeons & Drafts - Destihl Renesaince Faire
Our own Dylan & Derek will be out at DESTIHL Beer Hall running quick one-shot adventures for both Dungeons & Dragons and Daggerheart! If you’ve ever wanted to try a short, guided RPG session in a relaxed, social setting, this is a perfect opportunity. Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and jump into an adventure.
We’re excited to bring back our immersive summer camps for ages 11–15—now including both Dungeons & Dragons and LEGO building camps!
Our tabletop camps focus on roleplaying games like D&D, helping kids build creativity, teamwork, and confidence through storytelling, character creation, and collaborative play. We offer both beginner-friendly “Learn to Play” sessions and intermediate camps for returning adventurers.
In addition, our LEGO camps give kids a chance to dive into hands-on creativity—building, designing, and problem-solving with guided challenges and open-ended projects. It’s a perfect fit for kids who love to create, engineer, and bring their ideas to life.
Whether your child is excited about fantasy adventures, building amazing creations, or both, our summer camps are a fun, social, and engaging way to learn new skills and make new friends.
