The Grand 20th Anniversary Celebration Event - August 6th at 4:00pm
We are grateful and fortunate to celebrate 20 years in business in the community and we are so excited to share in the celebration with you on Wednesday, August 6th at 4:00pm. It would mean a lot to us if you would be a part of this momentous occasion and take part in our ribbon cutting ceremony.
We have an entire evening planned of food, drinks, gaming and entertainment for you all, including a very generous DJ service from our friends at Red Bull! There will even be balloon animal raccoons made by a local balloon artist and a face painter for kids and adults! We'll also have popcorn provided by Donny B's, a keg provided by Keg Grove, pizza and cake! Thank you all for making 20 years possible; we hope you'll support us for another 20 more.
First Friday August 7th from 5-8pm
For this First Friday, we're having local children's book author Amber Hernandez of Henry and Stanley Books with their brand new educational children's book that takes place here in Bloomington-Normal! You may have seen the book already in the Miller Park Zoo and it's soon to arrive at the McLean County History Museum, but you'll have your chance to pick up your very own copy here at Red Raccoon Games on Friday, August 7th from 5-8pm!
Pokemon $1000 Store Credit Mid-Year Celebration Tournament August 2nd at 12:30pm
We're wrapping up the off season with a $1000 store credit Mid-Year Celebration Tournament for the Pokemon TCG! Bring your favorite deck and compete against other local Pokemon Trainers for prizing. This tournament is not for league points as it is the off season, but you can still walk away with a split of the store credit pool to spend on what makes you the happiest in the store!
Magic the Gathering The Hobbit Prerelease Weekend August 7th-8th at 6:30pm
Join the adventure as Magic the Gathering returns to J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth with The Hobbit! This much anticipated set is having its full release here on August 7th and 8th and the spoilers are already hot, hot hot! We're stocking up all of the best Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit accessories incuding card sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, dice and more to celebrate our journey! Our adventure wouldn't be the same without you, so come on out on Friday, August 7th and on Saturday, August 8th at 6:30pm to take part in the Prerelease event!
