Snack Time - Kickstarter Edition

Snack Time is a Roll and Write game for an unlimited number of players. Each round a player will roll 5 dice which will include appendages to add to your creatures as well as sewer pipes to guide them to the surface.

Players are scored based on their ability to take a small bite out of people passing by and the quality of the people you snack on. If you aren't careful then the pedestrians will fight back and your creatures will be injured in their quest for food.

At the beginning of the round the pedestrians will move down the street visiting different locations. Someone will roll the dice and all players will add traits to their creatures and add pipes to their sewer. Then everyone will check to see if one of their creatures can take a bite out of a pedestrian! This depends on being in the right location and having the right traits to overwhelm your prey!

The Game ends when one player has completely fed all of their monsters or when a player gets caught by the authorities! Scores are based on the quality of food... I mean, people you ate, as well as how much damage your creatures sustained.

Keep your monsters healthy and happy and don't alert the authorities or you will incur heavy penalties because snitches get stitches.

Each player is given a score sheet where they will map the sewers as they guide their creatures to food.

Pedestrians walk through the city passing the 5 sewer entrances as they go about their dreadfully uninteresting lives.

Each turn, players will roll 5 dice, add 2 traits to their creatures, and 3 pipes to their sewer network.

At the end of each turn, players check to see if they have any Creatures that can take a bite out of a pedestrian. Multiple monsters may snack on the same pedestrian.

Unfortunately, some pedestrians you snack on are more... important than others. The local authorities will come looking. The game ends when any player is apprehended by the authorities, or all of their monsters are full.

Animal Control will also start setting traps to catch your little pets. If you are connected to a sewer entrance that gets trapped then your creature loses a limb/trait.

Your score is equal to the number of snacks each monster ate multiplied by the number of traits it has left. You also get points based on the quality of pedestrian you snacked on!

Since the pandemic has separated so many game groups, we wanted to make sure the game was fully playable as a solo game.  We are happy to say there is a really great way to play this game as a solo solitaire puzzle we think you will be very happy with.

Snack Time is easily played solo in an attempt to get the highest score you can. The rulebook has a page dedicated to keeping a running tally of high scores! It is also easy to play remotely with friends and family that do not live close by. And you should play together... you never know who might get eaten.
